Jaipur airport pickup — how it actually works

Jaipur International Airport has two terminals close together — T1, used mainly for cargo and some domestic operations, and T2, which handles the bulk of passenger arrivals and departures, domestic and international both. If you're unsure which one your flight uses, check your ticket or airline app; we ask for it when you book so the driver waits at the right gate rather than the right building.

What we do before you land

Once you send us the flight number, we don't just note down a pickup time and forget it. The number gets checked against live status as your slot approaches, so a flight that pushes back forty minutes doesn't leave a driver standing at an empty gate — or you standing at an empty kerb. This is the single biggest difference between booking ahead and hoping to find a cab after you land.

Where the driver actually stands

At T2, arriving passengers exit through a single set of doors into a short forecourt. Our driver waits there holding a card with your name, not lost in the general taxi rank outside. He'll have your phone number too, so if the hall is crowded you can call and describe where you are rather than walking the length of the building looking for a placard.

The fare, before any of this happens

We quote the transfer when you book, not when you land. A hatchback runs ₹599, a sedan ₹799, an SUV ₹1,199 — one-way, either direction, and the same number whether your flight touches down at 6am or midnight. There's no meter, no late-night loading, no separate charge because you're carrying two suitcases instead of one.

If your flight is delayed

Tell us as soon as you know, or don't bother telling us at all — we're already watching it. Because the driver's schedule is built around your actual landing time rather than the printed one, a two-hour delay just means a later pickup, not a missed one and not a fresh booking. Waiting time at the airport is built into the fare, so a slow queue through immigration or a wait for checked bags doesn't cost you anything extra either.

Drop-off, the other direction

Heading to catch a flight works the same way in reverse. Give us your flight time and we work back from it — Jaipur traffic near the airport road is usually light, but we build in enough margin that a slow start into the city on a market day still gets you to check-in comfortably early rather than jogging to the gate.

Getting one booked

Send your flight number, arrival time and drop address on WhatsApp, or call. We reply with the car and the fare, and that's the whole booking. If you're arriving and continuing straight on to another city the same day, mention it — combining the airport leg with an outstation trip in one booking is usually simpler than arranging two.
